What actually moves the price on vehicle transport.

Distance & Route

Mileage is the biggest factor. A 200-mile in-state run costs very different from a coast-to-coast drive.

Vehicle Type

A compact sedan, an SUV, and a lifted truck don’t drive, insure, or fuel the same. Tell us the year, make, and model.

Timing

Need it there tomorrow, or is next week fine? Rush jobs cost more because they block out a driver’s schedule.

Pickup Condition

Running and driveable is simplest. If it needs a jump, a tow, or doesn’t have current tags, say so upfront so the quote is accurate.

How is vehicle transport priced?

Every quote factors in distance, the vehicle itself, how soon you need it moved, and whether the car is in drivable condition. We price each job individually instead of running it through a flat per-mile calculator, because a two-day rush job and a flexible one-week job aren’t the same cost.

Do you drive the car yourselves, or is it towed or shipped?

For vehicle transport, we (or a vetted driver) get behind the wheel and drive it there. If you’d rather have the car shipped on a truck instead of driven, that’s vehicle freight, which is priced and handled differently. See the freight page for that option.

Is my car insured while it’s being transported?

We’ll walk you through exactly what’s covered before you commit to a job. Never hand over a vehicle without confirming coverage in writing first.

Can you pick up a car from an auction, dealer, or private seller?

Yes. That’s one of the most common jobs we run. Give us the pickup location, the seller or auction’s hours, and any paperwork requirements, and we’ll build that into the quote.

What if the car breaks down mid-route?

We plan routes with realistic stops and check the vehicle’s basic condition before departure. If something comes up, you’ll be the first call, not the last.
